VWcms Using Tickets

A ticket is a unique, one-off, 15 character string, provided by VWcms, which must be manually copied and pasted by the user.  When a VWcms comment or feedback or form element contains a $$TICKET$$ directive VWcms requires the specified ticket somewhere in the comment/feedback/form text or it will be rejected.  Once a ticket is issued it remains valid until used (the once) or it expires (one hour).  This is a mechanism intended to help defeat SPAMbots.

This is a ticket: MkmlMZd4i4wuvZh

If you refresh the page you will notice it change.

It is intended to be cut-and-paste anywhere into the comment/feedback text.  When submitted VWcms searches the text for the ticket and if found accepts the comment/feedback, otherwise rejects it.  It then cuts the ticket from the text before final processing.

The following provides an example uage:

To have a comment accepted, cut-and-paste the highlighted
string into the comment (anywhere will do)!

$$TICKET$$

$$COMMENT$?$4x80$$

And is presented to the user as:
